Keep Hush is a global underground dance community whose primary mission is to ‘Back the Underground’.

We see underground dance music as an agent of positive change, source of togetherness and creator of joy. Everything that we do sets out to protect and encourage these values in our scene through supporting diverse grassroots communities.

We primarily carry this out through our live broadcasted ticketed events which are optimised to showcase DJs and promote them to a potentially unlimited online audience.

We aim to capture culturally significant moments in the scene, which leave our community and artists feeling inspired. This has forged a strong sense of community around our platform which has naturally allowed for an expansion in the projects that we can create now. Including a diverse range of club nights, international livestreams, merch, Open Decks projects, panel talks and more.

Keep Hush Special Projects & Brand Partnerships

Let’s not beat around the bush: brand partnerships are often really shit. They are creatively lazy, don’t further the artists involved, and are exploited to coolwash brands that don’t really give a shit about the culture.

Keep Hush exists to support underground dance music artists, by being a platform, helping them make money, or connecting the scene. To achieve those goals, we launch new ideas as often as we can. However, sometimes, we can launch ideas a lot faster, and reach a lot more people, if we run them with brand support.

We will only work with brands who want to invest in grassroots music projects, and understand that the major benefits to them will be true respect from the community, and long term relationships with the artists involved. Partnerships must provide meaningful value for the community.

In the same way that we asked fans to Back The Underground by supporting artists through Keep Hush Merch Service, we’re asking brands to Back The Underground by getting involved. Hit us up if your brand wants to genuinely support the culture.

Keep Hush Safe(r) Space Policy

Keep Hush works hard to maintain a safe(r) environment for all of our members. We operate a zero tolerance policy towards anyone that jeopardises this.

This includes and is not limited to any form of sexual harrassment, racism, homophobia, transphobia, ableism and classism.

By entering a Keep Hush event you are agreeing to respect measures that we take to ensure that everyone is safe.

We want to iterate that no issue is too small and what makes someone feel uncomfortable is entirely subjective. This includes situations that made you feel unsafe as a witness. We take every issue seriously in order to create a space where everyone and anyone knows that they will be heard.

Keep Hush staff members have been trained with Good Night Out and will be wearing green lanyards so that you can easily identify who to come to if you have any issues. We will handle the issue with discretion and work with you to ensure that the appropriate action is taken in accordance with our safe(r) space policy.

Dance music is a space created for self expression and freedom. Our events and community should be a reflection of this ethos. This can only be achieved in an environment where everyone feels safe and respects the safety of one another.
